Responsibilities

Provide hands-on technical support for library computer systems
Ensure the reliable operation and security of library automated systems
Collaborate with library staff and system providers for continuous improvement
Conduct staff training on system usage and troubleshooting

Qualification

Computer equipment operationTechnical supportSystem oversightPublic library experienceComputer science courseworkUser supportProblem-solvingDetail-oriented

Required

One year of experience involving the application, operation, or repair of computer equipment
Equivalent to two years of college with course work in computer science, information processing, telecommunications, electronics or a related field
Possession of a valid California Driver's License

Preferred

Experience in a public library environment is desired
