Responsibilities

Evaluate and analyze job architecture; create and maintain job families and profiles
Conduct job evaluations to determine classification and job levels
Analyze proposed pay structures and align with strategic compensation priorities
Conduct market pricing to establish competitive pay ranges, including market research and benchmarking
Develop and maintain employee mapping to the new job architecture
Analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and provide innovative recommendations
Design and audit compensation structures (pay structures, job maintenance) in various systems; recommend changes or standardization
Serve as a resource on complex compensation issues and provide team training
Provide compensation consulting to business clients
Create presentations to influence change and support decision-making at the senior leadership level
Develop organization-wide skills frameworks, processes, and governance protocols for sustaining job architecture
Maintain metrics and dashboards to measure progress and impact

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or equivalent experience
12+ years of relevant compensation or HR experience
10+ years of leadership experience
Strong knowledge of compensation principles, terminology, and practices
Understanding of legal compliance (Equal Pay Act, ADA, ADEA, FLSA)
Detail-oriented with ability to handle confidential information
Strong quantitative and analytical skills; experience with statistical analysis and financial modeling
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (complex formulas), Access
Knowledge of SAP or other HR management systems
Knowledge of effective rewards and performance management practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
Job evaluation and classification expertise
Compensation policy, process, and structure development
Experience creating presentations for executive-level influence
Analytical mindset with strong quantitative skills
Experience with SAP or similar HR systems

Preferred

Extensive experience designing, implementing, and improving compensation systems
Experience with regulated public companies
Strong project planning, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred
