Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of the planning, execution, and delivery of data initiatives
Develop project charters, handle program plans, and ensure timely delivery across initiatives
Set performance indicators and success benchmarks for primary data services and data product initiatives
Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to lead data product lifecycle phases
Translate detailed business requirements into precise technical scopes and user stories for data engineering teams
Ensure customer needs are incorporated into the design
Apply Agile principles to priorities and refine backlogs, run sprint ceremonies, and enable multi-functional partnership
Partner with product managers, analysts, and data consumers to prioritise and develop reusable data assets and self-service capabilities that enable business innovation
Maintain forward-looking roadmaps for platform capabilities and domain-specific data products
Champion customer-centric and quality-focused delivery. Measuring business impact and usability of data products
Collaborate with product leaders, data stewards, and governance teams to ensure products meet regulatory, compliance, and ethical data use standards
Develop leadership dashboards, presentations, and steering committee updates. Ensuring portfolio visibility, including project health and wins!
Support and maintain program governance frameworks, including portfolio management processes, standardized methodologies, and reporting structures to ensure delivery excellence across all initiatives
Drive continuous improvement of PMO practices by refining processes, introducing best-in-class standards, and enabling consistent governance for enterprise data programs

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, with an equivalent qualification considered
8+ years experience working in a similar role
Consistent track record to define, scope, and run sophisticated programs and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and successful delivery within timeline, budget, and quality standards
Expertise in coordinating a portfolio of initiatives, with the ability to consolidate, analyse, and report on program health, status, and impact
A consistent record of applying Agile principles to drive iterative progress and adaptability
Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project)
Ability to evaluate incoming requests, prioritise based on organisational needs, and make data-informed decisions
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple teams and collaborators, encouraging a collaborative and aligned environment
Proven track record to design, implement, and evolve PMO frameworks, or contribute to their development and maturation, with a focus on portfolio management, process optimization, and standardization to ensure governance and delivery excellence
