PERSEUS Project Intern

Responsibilities

Assist with one or more individual research efforts related to the four major task areas (Measurement, Modeling, Management (extension), and Mindset (education)) of the PERSEUS project
Conduct a comprehensive literature review of one specific aspect of the research efforts related to one of the four major task areas
Participate in meetings; provide updates and feedback on the work that is conducted by the intern
Contribute to the development of presentations, reports, papers or other outcomes

Required

Undergraduate student actively seeking a bachelor's degree in forestry, natural resources, environmental resource management, or a closely related major that strongly emphasizes and includes coursework involving geographic information systems, remote sensing, or artificial intelligence
Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with research groups
An interest in the management, modeling, and analysis of geographic data, and the ability to work independently
