Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to grow revenue within the assigned U.S. region
Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with pharmaceutical, CRO, and biotech organizations
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, technical buyers, and economic buyers
Achieve or exceed annual sales and profitability targets
Manage and maintain an active sales pipeline, progressing multiple opportunities simultaneously
Track customer interactions, transactions, pipeline, and forecasts using SAP CRM/ERP systems
Coordinate internal pre-sales and operational resources throughout the sales cycle
Execute a land-and-expand sales strategy to grow existing and new accounts
Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and industry developments
Resolve customer issues by investigating concerns, developing solutions, and communicating recommendations
Maintain strong communication with internal leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams
Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions to generate new business and strengthen relationships
Stay current on industry regulations, market changes, and relevant state and federal legislation

Required

5–12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or business development
Strong background in one or more of the following: Clinical trial supplies, Comparator drug sourcing and distribution, Pharmaceutical outsourcing or supply chain services
Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets
Strong negotiation, customer service, and relationship-building skills
Experience using SAP CRM/ERP and MS Office tools preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Self-motivated, results-driven, and accountable
Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings and industry events

Preferred

Experience using SAP CRM/ERP and MS Office tools preferred
Master's degree in Health Sciences, Marketing, Pharmaceuticals, or a related field preferred
