Responsibilities
Review, verify, and process all invoices received for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
Schedule and prepare payments, monitor payment deadlines, and ensure timely disbursement to vendors and suppliers
Maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing any discrepancies or issues related to invoices and payments
Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including invoices, payment confirmations, and vendor communications
Recommend improvements and collaborate with the finance team to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency. Document new procedures
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Attention to Detail: Ability to produce accurate and timely work, ensuring all financial transactions are correctly recorded
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with accounting software, Costpoint preferred
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and internal teams
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience: 1 year of experience in accounts payable
Education: Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement
