Responsibilities
Serve as a key compliance resource with primary responsibility for Medicare and Medicaid billing compliance
Own and oversee internal and external compliance audits, including coordinating audit activities and serving as a central point of contact
Develop, implement, and track corrective action plans in response to audit findings and identified compliance risks
Advise internal stakeholders on healthcare regulatory requirements related to billing, reimbursement, and compliance program operations
Assess existing compliance policies, procedures, and controls, and recommend enhancements as needed
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience serving as a corporate compliance officer or in a comparable healthcare compliance role
Significant experience with Medicare and Medicaid billing compliance and audit management
Strong working knowledge of healthcare regulatory environments and compliance best practices
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams independently
Practical, solutions-oriented advisor who can balance regulatory rigor with operational realities
Comfortable working in a remote, engagement-based role and stepping into an organization midstream
Outstanding professional references
Preferred
JD or CPA preferred (but not required)
