Responsibilities
Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
Supervise the processes of receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
Design the layout to ensure efficient use of space
Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
Comply with all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements
Uphold standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
Oversee stock control and reconcile it with the data storage system
Conduct inventory audits and make recommendations on items to order and restock
Manage warehouse associates by monitoring their work and ensuring the safe operation of warehouse equipment
Liaise with other departments to ensure timely shipping and/or delivery of products
Gather feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
Qualification
Required
Required to have a high school diploma or GED
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project) is essential
Knowledgeable about HVAC material and equipment
Demonstrated ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Practical experience with warehouse management software and databases
Leadership abilities and experience managing staff
Strong capabilities in decision-making and problem-solving
Outstanding communication skills
Must comply with the Company's minimum driving standards
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly (heavier with assistance)
Stand and walk for extended periods on warehouse floors
Load/unload HVAC equipment and materials
Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and use hands for material handling
Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts) safely
Work in non-climate-controlled warehouse conditions
Wear and comply with required PPE and safety standards
