Responsibilities
Be the main point of contact for the leadership team, becoming a trusted advisor to them on the market and curating and development BD and marketing strategies to help the partners deliver on their business plans
Work with the practice leads to create a thought client strategy for the firm, including cross selling opportunities within current clients and monitoring market trends to advise on potential new business opportunities for the firm
In tandem with the firms central functions, work to increase the firms brand presence in specific markets, through creating thought leadership pieces and other marketing collateral
Play a pivotal role in the management team of the firms BD function, fostering a collaborative relationship with senior leadership and peer groups. Helping out on firmwide projects as and when needed
Help develop and nurture junior talent within the BD team, taking an interest in their professional development and career growth within the firm
Qualification
Required
Experience operating in the finance/transactional area of a law firm
Ability to create and devise BD strategy
Experience in coaching and developing junior talent
Ability to act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team
Experience in curating and developing BD and marketing strategies
Ability to create a thought client strategy for the firm
Experience in monitoring market trends and advising on new business opportunities
Ability to increase the firm's brand presence in specific markets
Experience in creating thought leadership pieces and marketing collateral
Ability to foster collaborative relationships with senior leadership and peer groups
Experience in managing firmwide projects
