Responsibilities

Create/modify Allen Bradley PLC programs and design new plant control systems
Lead automation, improvement, and obsolescence mitigation projects
Implement robust, cost-effective controls for automation and process equipment
Interface with integrators to deliver integrated process systems
Support projects from design through start-up, including training plant personnel
Review electrical designs and ensure safety and compliance with Corning standards
Communicate/document changes and practice our core values

Qualification

Allen Bradley PLC programmingHMI/SCADA programmingAutoCAD ElectricalIndustrial safety codesVFDsServosOSI PI interfaceTroubleshootingProcess improvementCollaboration

Required

BS in EE/CS/ME or related field, 2+ years' industrial PLC/HMI/SCADA experience
AutoCAD Electrical proficiency (panel layouts/schematics, documentation)
Hands-on experience in programming HMI/SCADA systems, understanding industrial comms protocols

Preferred

Allen Bradley ControlLogix v20+ PLC experience
Strong knowledge of industrial safety codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, LOTO)
Experience with VFDs, servos, machine design, and legacy controls
Experience with OSI PI interface
