They are seeking a Computer Science Intern to gain hands-on experience in building software for web applications and internal tools, working closely with the team to support their portfolio companies and internal operations.

Responsibilities
Build and improve web apps and internal tools (features, UI, backend endpoints, integrations)
Create automations that save time (data cleaning, reporting, scraping, workflows, alerts)
Work with APIs and third party services (payments, email, CRM, analytics, etc.)
Assist with data tasks such as dashboards, metrics, exports, and quality checks
Use AI tools to accelerate development (LLM workflows, prompt testing, lightweight agents)
Write clear documentation so projects are easy to maintain and hand off
Participate in meetings with founders, operators, and investors when relevant to your work
Qualification
Required
CS student or recent graduate who wants real world building experience
Comfortable learning fast and working in an unstructured environment
Strong problem solver who can debug and figure things out independently
Clear communicator who asks good questions and keeps things moving
Excited about startups, entrepreneurship, and practical software that drives outcomes
Able to commute reliably to Lake Bluff, IL
Preferred
Programming experience in Python and or JavaScript
Familiarity with web development basics (APIs, databases, auth, Git)
Comfort with modern tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc
Bonus: React, Node, SQL, Supabase, Firebase, AWS, Docker, analytics tools
