They are seeking a Data Quality Engineering & Operations Manager to lead the definition, monitoring, and maintenance of data quality across the enterprise, supporting analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives.

Responsibilities
Set clear standards for what 'good data' means across the organization
Build and manage the data quality roadmap based on business priorities
Turn governance and business rules into real, working data quality checks
Make sure data quality scales as systems, analytics, and AI grow
Own and manage a modern data monitoring/observability platform (Monte Carlo or similar)
Monitor data freshness, volume, schema changes, and unusual patterns
Lead day-to-day issue triage and drive problems to root cause and resolution
Set up alerts, SLAs, and clear escalation paths when issues happen
Manage and mentor a team of Data Quality Engineers
Define best practices and standards for building quality into data pipelines
Help engineering and analytics teams prevent issues before they happen
Create repeatable processes to reduce constant firefighting
Provide clear, easy-to-understand visibility into data health and risks
Explain data issues in business terms, not just technical language
Partner with data, analytics, product, and AI teams to prioritize work
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in data, analytics, or data engineering roles with a strong focus on data quality
3+ years of experience leading teams or serving as a senior technical lead
Hands-on experience implementing and operating data observability tools
Strong understanding of data quality challenges across operational systems, analytics, and AI
Experience running data quality in real, production environments
Preferred
Thinks of data quality as an ongoing capability, not a one-time project
Comfortable balancing strategy, hands-on tools, and people leadership
Knows how to turn reactive data issues into proactive, measurable improvements
Can clearly explain complex data topics to non-technical audiences
