Responsibilities

Working with other professionals within the Tax Specialty team; working with tax professionals domestically and internationally

Providing tax consulting and compliance in a professional environment for the effective diagnosis, solution, development, and implementation of tax solutions

Helping to draft and assisting in the delivery of client projects; use quantitative analysis to solve issues that arise

Assisting with US tax reporting for international transactions

Assisting with providing IC-DISC administration and compliance

Learning aspects of Global Mobility Services tax including social security, tax planning, tax compliance and withholding tax implications for employees working outside the US

Working with computer programs such as Microsoft Excel and GoSystems

Delivering Forvis Mazars' commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients

Required

Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting

Solid technical accounting knowledge

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Willingness to take initiative

Close attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines

Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred

Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall)

Interested in pursuing the CPA license
