Responsibilities
Shaping and executing U.S. Eagle’s overall financial strategy
Overseeing all aspects of finance, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, capital management, and regulatory compliance
Partnering with the CEO and the Executive Management team to shape credit union strategy, influence key decisions, drive profitability, stimulate growth, and ensure long-term financial stability
Qualification
Required
Eight or more years of senior leadership experience in finance and accounting, preferably at an Executive level within a financial institution
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required
Strong financial acumen with advanced knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with financial software and reporting systems
Ability to make sound decisions under uncertainty while guiding and motivating the organization
Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to stakeholders
Ability to foster collaboration across departments to link business strategy with execution
Work frequently involves exercising advanced conflict resolution techniques
Ability to give presentations to large audiences of diverse backgrounds
Ability to resolve issues impacting multiple departments or divisions
Ability to motivate and influence others as a material part of the role
Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the role
Preferred
A master's degree (MBA) is preferred
Advanced certifications such as CMA or CPA are highly desired
