They are currently recruiting a Materials Engineer for their Seal Dynamics Business Unit, where the role involves performing documentation reviews, developing test plans, and interfacing with outside labs to ensure compliance with aerospace standards.

Responsibilities
Perform an in-depth documentation review of materials received and process certifications from suppliers for first article and production parts
Develop reverse engineering materials test plans to be sent to outside labs
Provide support in preparation of documentation required to send first article and production parts to outside Materials Analysis labs
Interface with outside labs, Review test reports for accuracy and complete test plans
Perform in-house materials testing with XRF equipment, FTIR, Rockwell hardness, Shore hardness and passivation test (Training will be provided)
Develop and maintain materials and process specifications in compliance with aerospace standards (e.g., ASTM, AMS, MIL)
Other Duties assigned by Materials Engineering
