Mid LevelThe Value Maximizer is a technology-driven organization seeking a SQL Database Administrator to support enterprise-level applications and analytics. In this role, you will manage mission-critical database environments, collaborate with engineering teams, and drive performance and reliability across platforms.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and ETL workflows for data movement across diverse sources
Administer and maintain SQL Server databases across development, testing, and production environments at a 99.9% uptime standard
Manage SSRS reporting, including report creation, optimization, and system integration
Oversee a hosted MongoDB environment and support cross‑platform data tasks
Perform proactive performance tuning, capacity planning, and real‑time monitoring
Implement and execute database backup, restore, and disaster‑recovery strategies
Develop automation scripts for routine DBA operations and monitoring
Drive continuous improvement through monitoring, alerting, and system optimization
Qualification
Required
Experience with SQL Server administration, isolation levels, normalization, and relational database concepts
Familiarity with Windows Server environments
Ability to support database operations in a 24/7 environment when needed
Hands‑on experience with SSIS and ETL processes (ZappySys a plus)
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams
Highly self‑directed, able to work independently, and effective at managing multiple deadlines
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or comparable project tools
Preferred
Working knowledge of Power BI, PowerShell, PostgreSQL, or .NET
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
