Responsibilities
Get clear communication as to which ganged jobs are next so there is no disruption on jobs getting cut on time
Place printed jobs on jogger to align and have them ready for Cutter Operator
Weigh each job according to job specifications
Monitor assigned jogging machine to ensure adherence to specifications, adjust as needed to maintain operating speed
Troubleshoot machine problems, resolve if possible, notifying Bindery Supervisor/Plant Management
Report all workplace hazards to management immediately
Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstation are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards
Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs
Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
At least 1 year experience packing with different paper thickness and general printing process
Ability to measure and count accurately
Attention to detail
Ability to read, write, speak & understand English
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers
Ability to safely use hand/power tools
Ability to multitask with changing priorities
Ability to recognize safety issues & corrective actions
