Responsibilities

Install, service, and troubleshoot low-voltage systems, including Cat5/Cat6, fiber, and structured cabling
Perform access control installations (Lenel, S2, Genetec, Software House, Avigilon)
Install and configure VMS systems (IP/analog cameras, head-end equipment)
Install and service door hardware, including:
Electrified locks
Readers
Strikes
Crash bars
Sensors
Door brakes
Work with commercial-grade hardware from Allegion and ASSA ABLOY
Complete terminations, testing, labeling, and documentation
Follow project plans when acting as part of a team or when the company serves as the GC
Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and strong communication with project managers
Travel to various job sites; technicians may park at Tanger Mall and ride in a company vehicle to the airport project
Report to the office and use company vehicles when work outside the Charleston area is required

Required

3-5 years of experience in cabling/access control
Install, service, and troubleshoot low-voltage systems, including Cat5/Cat6, fiber, and structured cabling
Perform access control installations (Lenel, S2, Genetec, Software House, Avigilon)
Install and configure VMS systems (IP/analog cameras, head-end equipment)
Install and service door hardware, including electrified locks, readers, strikes, crash bars, sensors, and door brakes
Work with commercial-grade hardware from Allegion and ASSA ABLOY
Complete terminations, testing, labeling, and documentation
Follow project plans when acting as part of a team or when the company serves as the GC
Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and strong communication with project managers
Travel to various job sites
Report to the office and use company vehicles when work outside the Charleston area is required
