The ideal candidate will analyze and review building fire protection and plumbing systems for compliance, coordinate with other technical disciplines, and communicate with facilities regarding design audit projects.

Responsibilities
Analyzing and reviewing drawings, specifications, reports, and studies for compliance with codes and standards
Coordinating the review comments from other technical disciplines and preparing memoranda for transmitting comments to the line departments
Attending meetings with tenant design consultants to discuss the review comments and resolving those issues
Communicating with PA facilities to process TAA and design audit projects
Additional duties as necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience of diverse experience in building codes and system design
Must possess a Professional Engineer's License in the state of New York and/or New Jersey
Proper understanding of mechanical/plumbing/fire protection disciplines related to building design and construction of transportation and related facilities
Comfortable acting as liaison between PA Tenants & Facilities and in-house application reviewers to ensure smooth workflow
Comprehensive computer skills, proficient in MS Suite, and ability & interest to learn various in-house and external software (Share Point, Trimble, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
