Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations in a public accounting environment

Perform tax compliance and assist with tax planning engagements while ensuring adherence to current tax laws and regulations

Supervise, train, and mentor junior tax associates, reviewing workpapers and providing technical guidance to ensure accuracy and compliance

Collaborate daily with senior managers, partners, and clients to manage tax engagements and meet filing deadlines

Serve as a client contact for tax-related inquiries, delivering high-quality client service and professional communication

Prepare and review tax workpapers, supporting schedules, and documentation in accordance with firm standards

Utilize CCH Axcess, Caseware, and other tax preparation software to manage tax returns and engagement workflows

Conduct tax research using applicable resources and apply findings to client situations

Identify tax issues, analyze risks, and recommend solutions to management
