They are seeking a Mainframe Security Engineer with depth of RACF experience to take responsibility for the security of the z/OS mainframe, defining security objectives and implementing protection plans.

Responsibilities

Define RACF Security objectives
Deciding what to protect and how to report attempted violations
Developing the RACF implementation plan and installing RACF
Educating all users of the RACF-protected system
RACF installation and customization
RACF database performance, recovery
RACF utilities
Experience in coding and modifying RACF Exits
Experience in migrating to RACF from other mainframe security products (i.e. ACF2 or TopSecret)
Experience in ACF2 is an advantage
Experience in Assembler coding is an advantage
Experience of wider issues of mainframe security (web, network, etc.)
ZSecure experience a major plus
Ideally have used SMF records for reporting
