Responsibilities
As directed by VP of Development, conduct research to support all development functions, including acquisitions, due diligence, impact fees, utility costs, market analysis, construction costs, entitlements, etc
With guidance from the VP of Development, create and maintain financial models and project budgets
Assist in tracking of timelines and schedules for projects in planning, construction or lease-up
Assist in assemblage of consultant, design and construction project teams
Research and gather documentation for RFQ/RFP’s and assist in submittal of responses
Assist with land acquisition, including preparation of LOI's and purchase contracts with legal counsel, and gathering of due diligence materials
Assist with financial closing in conjunction with lenders, legal counsel and other project team members
Assist with preparation of internal reporting and forecasting in conjunction with the finance / accounting team
Attend project meetings or OAC’s and keep minutes as required by the VP of Development
Qualification
Required
2– 3 years' experience in real estate and financial analysis
Strong record of managing complex financial models
Ability to have professional interaction with team members, stakeholders, government officials and staff
Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail
Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
Must be willing to travel on occasion
