Industrialization Engineer - Electrical Systems
CampusPoint is seeking a highly skilled Industrialization Electrical Systems Engineer to support the development and manufacturing of low- and medium-voltage switchgear products. This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, safety, and reliability of electrical assemblies through design reviews, validation, and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities
Interpret electrical schematics as single-line and three-line, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings to ensure manufacturability and compliance with standards
Identify design errors or inconsistencies and propose corrective actions to design teams
Collaborate with Electrical Engineers to align electrical design with physical constraints and manufacturing capabilities
Propose improvements to wiring methods and component selection to enhance reliability and ease of assembly
Define and document standardized wiring processes for various switchgear configurations
Develop validation protocols for electrical assemblies, including continuity, insulation resistance, and functional testing
Ensure traceability of design changes and maintain version control of electrical documentation
Support the creation of work instructions and training materials for technicians and assemblers
Lead the development of electrical validation procedures for prototype and production units
Define and implement test setups for verifying electrical performance and safety
Analyze test results and support root-cause analysis of failures or deviations
Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., UL, IEC, IEEE) and internal quality requirements
Train technicians and assemblers on proper wiring techniques, safety protocols, and interpretation of electrical drawings (single-line and three-line)
Provide on-the-floor support during initial builds and troubleshooting of electrical issues
Develop visual aids and reference materials to support consistent execution of electrical tasks
Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on manufacturability
Collaborate with design, operations, and quality teams to improve product performance and reduce assembly errors. Building a close relationship with Electrical Engineers
Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement projects
Recommend new tools, components, or technologies to enhance electrical assembly processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field
5+ years of experience in electrical design, manufacturing, or testing of switchgear or electrical enclosures
Experience with CAD tools
Experience in a manufacturing environment with cross-functional collaboration
Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
Familiarity with validation and testing methods for electrical assemblies
Knowledge of relevant standards (UL, IEC, IEEE) and safety protocols
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
