This position offers an opportunity to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across critical power generation materials and services categories, contributing directly to operational efficiency and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, management, and implementation of strategic sourcing initiatives for assigned materials and services categories
Direct sourcing plans and go-to-market strategies for the business unit portfolio
Negotiate supplier contracts, terms, and conditions to achieve cost savings, performance goals, and risk mitigation
Manage cross-functional teams to ensure sourcing initiatives and major projects meet delivery timelines and business unit requirements
Monitor supplier performance and contract activity, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Analyze financial data and key performance indicators to inform sourcing decisions and forecast savings impact
Maintain and develop strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and continuous improvement
Collaborate with internal business partners to communicate sourcing strategies, project status, and performance outcomes
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, sourcing procedures, and industry best practices
Support problem resolution between suppliers and internal stakeholders as required

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 7 years of professional supply chain sourcing experience, preferably in power generation or industrial operations
Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex supplier contracts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP or similar ERP systems
Experience managing strategic sourcing projects with measurable cost savings and performance outcomes
Knowledge of power generation materials, chemicals, and services categories (e.g., maintenance chemicals, engineering or environmental services)
Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and manage projects in a remote or hybrid environment

Preferred

Professional certifications such as CPSM or CPM are a plus
