Cabling And Access Control Technician

Responsibilities

Install and support electronic access control systems and related components
Perform door hardware installations, including electrified locks, strikes, readers, sensors, crash bars, and door operators
Install and terminate low-voltage cabling (Cat5/Cat6 and fiber)
Assist with video surveillance (VMS) and head-end equipment installations
Follow safety standards and maintain a clean, professional jobsite
Collaborate closely with field teams, project managers, and supervisors

Required

Assist with video surveillance (VMS) and head-end equipment installations

Structured cabling (Cat5/Cat6, fiber, low voltage)
Access control systems (Lenel, S2, Genetec, Software House, Avigilon)
Video surveillance systems (IP and analog cameras)
Door hardware installation and integration
Familiarity with Allegion and ASSA ABLOY hardware
Technicians are expected to bring basic hand tools

Preferred

2+ years of commercial cable installation or low-voltage experience
Experience as an electrical apprentice, low-voltage installer, or commercial technician
Experience working as part of a team on active construction jobsites
