Responsibilities
Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset, and engaging in Producers Dairy Mission Statement to identify, value, prioritize, resource and sustain improvement opportunities
Owning and promoting a Safety Culture by ensuring a safe work environment and promoting proper safety behavior
Managing accounts payable using accounting software (Laserfiche, BeanWorks) and other programs
Analyzing workflow processes
Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors in a professional manner
Ensuring bills are paid timely and vendor discounts are taken, while adhering to departmental procedures
Thoroughly review purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges for accuracy
Processing transactions to the correct general ledger account and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance
Managing vendor statements for past due invoices
Excellent attendance and punctuality are an essential function of this position

Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience managing accounts payable using accounting software (Laserfiche, BeanWorks) and other programs
Ability to analyze workflow processes
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors in a professional manner
Ability to ensure bills are paid timely and vendor discounts are taken, while adhering to departmental procedures
