Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of all perioperative areas to ensure safe, timely, efficient patient flow
Optimize OR utilization, block scheduling, case throughput, and resource allocation
Ensure timely coordination between surgery, anesthesia, nursing, SPD, and ancillary departments
Maintain rigorous standards of patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
Collaborate with medical directors and clinical leaders to implement evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives
Monitor and improve key performance indicators such as SSI rates, on-time starts, turnover times, cancellations, and adverse events
Build strong, collaborative relationships with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and procedural leaders to ensure service line success
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and accreditation requirements
Oversee development of policies and procedures aligned with best practices and regulatory standards

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Seven (7) years of RN experience including four (4) years of leadership experience
Valid RN license
Preferred
Master's degree in nursing
RN experience in ICU, ER, or Periop
