Responsibilities

Lead or oversee trade studies and ensures all technical and programmatic impacts are considered
Coordinate across all program engineering and manufacturing organizations to ensure the Payloads organization meets the mission needs
Build the talent pipeline: hiring, managing, and training RF Engineering resources
Additional responsibilities include evaluating engineering personnel for performance reviews, promotions, merits and recognitions

Required

Experience with RF systems and design for space-rated hardware
Experience collaborating with major engineering disciplines including systems engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, integration, and/or verification
Experience establishing milestones and monitoring adherence to master plans and schedules, identifying program problems, and/or obtaining solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications
To meet requirements of the program/customer, this position requires the selected employee to be a U.S. Citizen
Prior to starting employment, selected candidates will be required to possess Top Secret clearance
For this position, applicants must possess a currently Active Top Secret security clearance to be considered
Selected candidates will be required to obtain, and maintain, Top Secret with adjudicated SCI Eligibility (i.e. TS/SCI) for long term employment on this program

Preferred

Experience as a CAM (Control Account Manager)
Demonstrated self-starter who can take initiative and work independently with minimal direction and oversight
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across stakeholders effectively, including customers, suppliers, management, and peers
Strong knowledge of EVM and CAM goals
Experience supporting and executing proposals
Demonstrated success shaping and leading a team in a dynamic business environment
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with customers and senior Leadership
Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
Ability to lead multi-functional teams and lead multiple teams to communicate, coordinate, and work as one team with common goals
Detailed knowledge of the program life cycle to include design reviews, requirements, system, integration and test, and operations
Proven customer intimacy skills to build and maintain a solid customer working relationship with the operational, technical, and programmatic customer base
Demonstrated people management skills including mentoring, coaching, performance management, and team development
Knowledge of the following: Risks, Critical Path, Scheduling, Business Acumen
