As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will architect and deploy AI-native systems designed to handle massive clinical datasets via high-volume APIs, leading the development of secure infrastructure for millions of patients.

Responsibilities
Architect and deploy secure AI-native systems and agentic infrastructure to process clinical data via API
Shape product iterations end-to-end by integrating first-hand customer and clinician feedback into the engineering roadmap
Work with a modern stack including AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock), Python, and advanced NLP / CV models
Qualification
Required
Expert-level experience with Python, FastAPI, and cloud-native infrastructure using AWS, Docker, and Terraform
Strong background in machine-learning engineering, including RAG, LLM fine-tuning, and document intelligence
A deep love for the 'little blue French whale' (Docker) and experience building high-volume data systems
