Production Control Lead-Assistant Staff

Responsibilities

Coordinate with multi-faceted cross-functional team and program contacts to align execution plan to program and technical needs
Support program management considering cost, schedule, performance, scope and risk
Develop program fabrication plans that involve advanced procurement, production planning, and development of prototype systems that demonstrate advanced technology
Utilize planning tools to provide capacity analysis, cost, and schedule estimates to group and programs
Partner with the production control team manager to continuously improve operations through a focus on quality, cost and schedule
Optimize fabrication / procurement processes including supply chain management
Identify opportunities for process improvements and manage projects related to fabrication, procurement, and project planning
Develop and document best practices for fabrication / procurement processes
Determine and maintain efficient execution of priority / production shop meetings
Help improve quality and on-time delivery through key performance indices
Identify high priority parts, resolve resource conflicts, and drive issues to closure
Work with the team to standardize and communicate overall quality status and help analyze demand forecast information based on input from program teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in operations management, supply chain management or equivalent technical degree or Bachelor's degree with 5-years of relevant experience
Proven leadership skills and ability to thrive in a team environment
Recognized self-motivator that seeks to continuously learn and challenge himself/herself
Ability to multi-task and drive issues to closure
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred

Experience utilizing digital engineering methodologies and data systems
Experience with fabrication operations and supply chain management
Experience with lean operation practices
