Responsibilities

Lead technical strategy and execution Own the design, analysis, and evaluation of HPT blades, shrouds, and hangers using disciplined engineering methods and standards
Integrate work across design, analysis, manufacturing, test, and field to meet program requirements on schedule and budget
Deliver product excellence Resolve complex technical issues; drive design maturation, risk burn-down, and configuration control
Provide manufacturing and field support; close the loop with data from test and service to improve durability and performance
Communicate and influence Prepare and present technical content to internal/external stakeholders and customers
Lead and contribute to design reviews, program reviews, and cross-functional initiatives
Grow capability Mentor and develop engineers; foster high standards for safety, quality, delivery, and cost
Author technical documentation and invention disclosures that protect competitive advantage

Required

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a design engineering position
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

Preferred

Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited college or university
8+ years of experience in a design engineering position
Deep experience designing, testing, and certifying turbine blades or hot-section hardware
Proficiency in lifing, heat transfer, structural analysis, and aero-mechanical behavior of HPT components
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional problem solving to identify and implement improved standard work and processes
Clear, confident communicator who can influence at all levels, including customers
Proven mentoring and team leadership; passion for developing talent
Experience with manufacturing methods for hot-section components (e.g., forging/casting, coatings, cooling features)
Proven track record of collaboration and driving measurable team outcomes (e.g., improved delivery, quality, and cycle time) through clear communication, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset
