(CLS) Clinical Lab Scientist Intern
Community Regional Medical Center is the largest of three main hospitals and serves as the flagship hospital of the Central Valley. They are seeking a Clinical Lab Scientist Intern to learn the skills necessary for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist role, including rotating through various laboratory sections under supervision, and preparing for the Board of Registry exam.

Responsibilities
Learn the skills of a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) in order to be eligible to take a Board of Registry (BOR) exam
Rotate through each laboratory section as outlined by California for the internship under the direction of a licensed CLS
Learn the duties as outlined in each section but cannot release results
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Physical or Biological Science or Medical Technology
Must have successfully completed the required Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and California education requirements such as Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, Serology, Chemistry, Hematology, and Physics
California Laboratory Scientist Training License (CLST) issued by the State of California
