Responsibilities
Define and execute end-to-end strategies for migrating Azure subscriptions and workloads from on-premises or other cloud environments to target Azure tenants
Plan and manage migration waves, dependencies, risks, and timelines
Design and automate Azure Landing Zones using Bicep and Azure Verified Modules (AVM)
Implement subscription vending and standardized resource deployments aligned with enterprise architecture
Design, implement, and manage Azure DevOps pipelines for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments
Automate manual processes using Bicep and PowerShell to improve efficiency and reliability
Establish and enforce Azure subscription governance, including:
Management Groups
RBAC
Azure Policies
Naming conventions and compliance standards
Act as the bridge between cloud engineering, application teams, security, and networking teams
Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to leadership and business stakeholders
Identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved resource utilization
Maintain detailed technical documentation, migration runbooks, and regular status reports
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in technical program/project management
3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud migrations
Strong expertise in Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
Hands-on experience with Azure Landing Zones and Subscription Vending
Advanced proficiency in Bicep for declarative infrastructure deployment
Practical experience using AVM to standardize and accelerate Azure resource deployment
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines)
Experience with Azure Migrate for workload assessment and migration
