Responsibilities

Participates in analysis, documentation, software support and other support tasks needed to produce reports and maintain information systems while adhering to Clinical Department and Information Technology (IT) standards

Supports clinical software packages from outside vendors while interacting with internal customers

Assists in the solution of operational difficulties encountered in executing clinical application programs

Answers user questions and problem solves/troubleshoots, which requires the ability to work well with people in many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical expertise

Analyzes and assesses interruptions in normal systems operations

Resolves problems or seeks assistance from the appropriate personnel or vendors, as needed

Assists both internal and external customers in finding solutions to their need for information as it related to the interfacing of disparate applications througout the enterprise, spanning multiple architectures

Creates test plans and performs QA for their and their team's software objects

Act as a liaison with application vendor, document problems, and resolutions

Implements escalation procedures when appropriate
