Responsibilities
Overseeing day-to-day fund accounting activities in partnership with third-party fund administrators
Reviewing financial statements, capital calls, distributions, capital accounts, and management fees
Supporting fund valuations and coordinating with valuation providers
Leading the audit and tax compliance process with external auditors and tax advisors
Assisting with regulatory filings and investor reporting
Helping build and refine processes, timelines, and best practices across fund operations
Mentoring junior team members through active participation and ownership
Qualification
Required
~5–6+ years of experience in accounting or finance
Strong understanding of partnership accounting, GAAP, valuations, and fund structures
Independent, solution-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership
Low ego, collaborative mindset — this is a humble, no-drama team
Preferred
Background in alternative investments, private equity, venture capital, or fund administration preferred
CPA or accounting/finance degree strongly preferred
Benefits
