Responsibilities
Process and manage Vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliation using Yardi BillPay
Monitor payment status, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with company policies
Review and resolve discrepancies in vendor payments and statements
Ensure proper classification of vendors for 1099 reporting
Assist with year-end 1099 preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations
Collect and maintain W-9 forms from vendors
Manage new vendor setup and onboarding in Yardi and VendorCafe
Verify vendor compliance, including insurance & tax documentation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records
Assist vendor with VendorCafe registration and troubleshooting issues
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
Hands-on experience with Yardi BillPay, 1099 filing, and VendorCafe are required
Strong understanding of AP processes, vendor management, and compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Accounting software
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred
Experience in real estate or property management industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Associate's degree with relevant experience may be considered
