Responsibilities
Operates a variety of heavy machinery, including bulldozers, loaders, excavators, and haul trucks
Performs daily inspections of equipment and report any maintenance or safety issues
Loads and transports sand and other materials within the mine or to designated areas
Assists with stockpiling and loading materials for processing
Ensures consistent supply of raw materials to the plant for processing
Adheres to all safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE and following mine safety guidelines
Participates in safety meetings and training sessions
Monitors work areas to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Assists in maintaining clear work areas, ensuring roads and paths are accessible
Helps in managing the flow of trucks entering and exiting the mine
Collaborate with supervisors to ensure production targets are met
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years' operating heavy equipment in a mining, construction, or similar environment
Familiarity with sand mining operations is a plus
Proficient in operating multiple types of heavy machinery
Strong understanding of mine safety regulations and equipment maintenance
Preferred
Heavy equipment operator certification (preferred)
MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) certification (preferred or willing to obtain)
