The Foreign Exchange Operations Intern supports daily FX and interest rate operations, ensuring accurate trade data entry and assisting with reconciliation activities while gaining exposure to various operational functions.

Responsibilities
Assist with reviewing and entering FX and interest rate trade data into operational systems
Support daily reconciliation tasks by identifying and documenting basic trade or cash breaks
Help monitor operational inboxes and route questions or exceptions to senior team members
Update and maintain spreadsheets, logs, and reference data used for trade support activities
Assist with preparing simple reports, dashboards, or summaries for team meetings
Conduct preliminary research to support process improvement or automation initiatives
Collaborate with operations staff to learn trade lifecycle processes and internal controls
Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values
At all times complying with Marex’s Code of Conduct
To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/or your supervisor as required

Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in economics or finance is preferred but business analytics, computer science, mathematics, and risk management are accepted
Genuine interest in one or more of the program's departmental tracks
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship, including, but not limited to, F-1, J-1, and M-1 visa holders, as well as individuals on CPT or OPT
