Responsibilities
Develop and implement project-specific quality plans and procedures to ensure adherence to quality standards, regulations, and customer requirements
Collaborate with project teams to develop and maintain project quality documentation, including quality control plans, inspection checklists, and test procedures
Monitor and evaluate project performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence
Ensure proper documentation and traceability of quality records, including non-conformance reports, inspection reports, and corrective action reports
Train project team members on quality standards, processes, and procedures to promote a culture of quality throughout the project
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with quality requirements and resolve any quality-related issues
Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on quality performance and improvement initiatives
Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality management to ensure continuous improvement of project quality processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, or similar field
Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve quality issues effectively
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
5+ years of experience in quality engineering within the manufacturing sector
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100
Strong technical writing skills
Certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt, Certified Quality Engineer, etc
