Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities
Support a unified budgeting and forecasting process for the US business, ensuring alignment across all P&L lines and clear communication of financial goals. Coordinate with global partners to validate assumptions and targets
Perform data and trend analysis to lead on-going identification of risks and opportunities to the Company’s financial plan, providing actionable insights and recommendations to business leaders
Develop and maintain financial models in support of achieving plan
Communicate risk and opportunity profiles to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Assesses financial impact of action plans based on identified risks and opportunities to ensure delivery of financial targets
Assist in the development and preparation of standardized reporting packages and presentations for leadership and cross-functional use
Perform mix analysis and provide insights on volume, price and mix (market/brand/size) variance
Prepare summary reports highlighting variances and performance drivers between updated forecasts and budget, prior year and previous forecasts
Build and fosters business partnering relationships cross-functionally to drive financial performance
Educate commercial teams on financial drivers, fostering understanding of P&L and performance levers
Support ad hoc projects, analysis and other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance and/or Accounting required
3+ years of related work experience in finance/accounting/analysis
Advanced Excel skills are required. Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office Products
Basic Knowledge of US Accounting Principles
Financial Analysis: Ability to create advanced spreadsheets, explain variances to estimates, identify insights, business risks and opportunities, and make appropriate recommendations
Forecasting: Knowledge of, and ability to apply, financial and forecasting procedures. This includes the ability to develop sound assumptions and produce relevant financial projections and models from those assumptions
Ability to identify and understand patterns and interconnectivity of relevant data in order to predict business performance
Project Management: Ability to manage projects/tasks to ensure successful delivery (on time and within budget) while identifying potential issues/risks
Control Environment: Understanding of internal controls, standards, and processes to ensure accuracy and consistency in data used for decision-making, internal/external reporting and communications
Preferred
SAP/Cognos/ Power BI knowledge a plus
