Responsibilities

Learn and perform day-to-day surveillance monitoring tasks
Assist with supported compliance reviews after initial training
Conduct research and gather data for surveillance-related projects
Document findings and maintain accurate compliance records
Collaborate with team members on monitoring and reporting activities
Prepare and present project results to a broader audience at internship completion
Stay informed on regulatory developments and industry best practices
Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and other applicable exchanges and regulatory bodies
Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with
Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values
At all times complying with Marex’s Code of Conduct
To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/or your supervisor as required
To escalate risk events immediately
To provide input to risk management processes, as required

Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in economics, finance, or risk management is required
Genuine interest in one or more of the program's departmental tracks
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship, including, but not limited to, F-1, J-1, and M-1 visa holders, as well as individuals on CPT or OPT
