Responsibilities
Provide direct support to the Controller in executing all accounting functions, including reporting, analysis, and compliance
Perform general ledger accounting duties including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Execute and manage monthly close processes, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and deadlines are met
Prepare and review detailed balance sheet reconciliations to ensure account accuracy and integrity
Maintain and administer the general ledger system, including account setup, period closing, and report generation
Assist with audit preparation and coordinate the collection of supporting documentation
Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
3–5 years of progressive accounting experience; prior experience in general ledger and month-end close required
Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
Familiarity with lease standard accounting
Understanding of Revenue Recognition
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Excel
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial documentation
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data
Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet strict deadlines
Effective verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Proactive problem solver with the ability to streamline accounting processes
