Responsibilities
Serve as prime consultant and external spokesperson for the organization on highly significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities, and long-range goals and objectives
Monitor and review operational budgets and schedules, and manpower requirements
Develop, analyze, troubleshoot and provide technical skills during research and/or product development
Perform research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modification of electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems
Formulate and recommend corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements
Qualification
Required
Requires a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience)
Requires an additional 10+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 8+ years of job-related experience
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
Recognized internally and/or externally as a subject matter expert (SME) in multiple adjacent disciplines/fields
