Project Engineer
The State Group is a leading provider of multi-trade industrial contracting services in North America, and they are seeking an Automation Project Engineer. This role involves engineering design responsibilities, including electrical hardware and software, while ensuring customer requirements are met under fixed timelines.

Responsibilities
Complete hardware and software design tasks to successfully meet all customer requirements
Attend project status, planning, and problem-solving meetings
Complete design deliverables with accuracy and quality according to controls lineups, layout standards, and customer requirements
Evaluate and execute technical solutions as required for engineering projects and provide support to all internal and external customers as required
Identify design issues and bring to the attention of the project manager
Participate and support in various project team improvement efforts
Provide remote support to controls engineers during field startup activities where required and related to project designs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering field
2+ years of experience in automation-based project engineering
Hardware and software design experience required
Proficiency with controls software such as Rockwell and Siemens
Ability to read, create, manipulate, and review both 2D and 3D drawings, manually and using EPLAN and AutoCAD software
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Preferred
Automotive manufacturing and GM body shop experience
