Responsibilities
Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance and operational concerns
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including suspicious activity, disturbances, medical situations, and fire or alarm activations, and notify appropriate parties as needed
Control access to the property by monitoring entry and exit points, checking credentials as required, and directing guests and deliveries to the appropriate destinations
Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities in written and/or electronic logs, and provide clear reports and observations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership
Qualification
Required
Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Customer service experience is preferred
Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred
Handcuffs/pepper spray/baton is preferred
