Mid LevelNaphCare, Inc. is one of the largest providers of healthcare services to correctional facilities throughout the US, and they are seeking a Part Time Clinical Psychologist to join their team at the Vista Detention Center. The Psychologist will provide psychological treatment and support to facility residents, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve mental health and reduce recidivism risks.

Responsibilities
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in providing assessment and treatment of mental and emotional disorders of patients
Working with inmates to prepare them for reintegration into society, providing support for finding housing, employment, and other resources
Providing counseling and support to help inmates manage emotional challenges, cope with incarceration, and develop coping mechanisms
Coordinating, leading and participating in educational training activities related to mental health care
Conducting risk assessments to identify potential dangers to inmates and the public, informing decisions about housing, treatment, and release
Qualification
Required
Must hold a current, unrestricted Psychologist license in CA
Must possess an active BLS/CPR Certification (AHA preferred)
Experience with underserved and marginalized populations, including those with mental health and substance use disorders
Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with diverse individuals, including other medical professionals, correctional staff and judges
Ability to interpret and analyze data to create treatment plans
Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
Able to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
Display integrity, professionalism and be able to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements
Must pass the facility's criminal background check and drug screening
