Electrical Engineering Co-op (Onsite)

In this co-op role, you will be a pivotal member of Collins Aerospace's Vision Systems Electrical Engineering team, where you will design, verify, and certify complex FPGA firmware and hardware for next-generation camera systems.

Responsibilities

You will verify digital hardware for a military or commercial applications
You will review requirements for a new digital hardware design using enterprise tools such as Jama Connect
You will create a test approach, outline, and description for hardware level verification in Microsoft Word
You will perform dry-runs and run-for-score on hardware test procedures
You will present hardware verification approach to the certification authority
You will support the electrical engineering team in various projects

Required

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred

Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale
Currently enrolled at an accredited university majoring in electrical engineering or computer engineering
Graduating with a bachelor's degree in 2026
