Responsibilities
Provides clinical strategic input for autoimmune or oncology clinical and translational projects
Supports the planning, organization, and direction of the activities of inflammation, oncology and related clinical trials, including development of clinical protocols and amendments, investigator brochures, and clinical study reports
Participates in medical data review, including evaluation of safety, pharmacology and efficacy of ongoing and completed studies
Contribute to the development of pharmacodynamic, diagnostic, and biomarker plans in conjunction with partners in clinical pharmacology and diagnostics/biomarkers
May interact with external thought leaders, including advisory boards, to support clinical and translational development
May prepare or participate in literature reviews and publications as appropriate
Qualification
Required
At least 7 years of experience in Clinical Research with PhD or PharmD with experience or specialization in an inflammation or oncology field
Ability to communicate efficiently with preclinical, biomarker, biostatistical and computational scientists, as well as clinical and commercial colleagues who may be outsourced and/or remote
Ability to explain scientific technical issues to technical and non-technical staff
Proven experience implementing and conducting clinical trials
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with both internal colleagues and external contacts, including key thought leaders, and investigators
Demonstrated ability to work well in teams in a cross functional manner
Ability to communicate and work independently with scientific/technical personnel with excellent oral presentation skills
Ability to think critically and demonstrated troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities
