New Grad, Entry LevelNS2 Mission is excited to bring on a driven Junior Full Stack Software Developer to support our team in Tysons Corner, VA. In this role, you’ll partner closely with a Lead Engineer and cross-functional team members to design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality software solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior engineers and team members to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions
Contribute across all layers of the application, including frontend user interfaces, backend services, and data layers
Translate functional and business requirements into technical implementations
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and support integrations with other applications and databases
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
Help maintain and enhance deployed applications in a cloud environment
Support 508 compliance and accessibility testing efforts
Assist with writing and maintaining automated tests
Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and team collaboration
Qualification
Required
Frontend development using modern JavaScript frameworks
React with TypeScript (or comparable frameworks such as Vue or Angular)
Backend service development using Python (or another modern backend language)
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
Experience developing, deploying, or maintaining applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, and S3
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience working in an Agile or Scrum-based team environment
Understanding of or exposure to accessibility (508) compliance standards
TS/SCI with FSP
Preferred
Experience writing or maintaining automated tests
Hands-on experience with cloud-native or serverless architectures
Internship, academic, or project-based experience with full stack web applications
