Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations, and journal entries/general ledger maintenance
Manage collections and follow up on outstanding receivables, with a strong focus on improving cash flow during a current cash crunch
Support weekly cash reporting and provide visibility into near-term cash needs
Process payroll and payroll-related reporting through ADP
Assist with month-end close activities and provide accurate financial data to the fractional CFO
Maintain organized financial records and support audits or external requests as needed
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiency
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience
Strong experience with AR, AP, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
Proven ability to manage collections and communicate professionally with customers
Experience working in a small to mid-sized company environment
Comfortable working onsite initially and collaborating closely with operations
Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel
Preferred
Experience with ADP strongly preferred
